I mean this is DECENT but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. Definitely one of the easiest. But odds are split into thirds thankfully with the 3 options available. Your odds are halved compared to newer games with the 1/8000. And even if you got one, you’d have a hard time transferring them over to modern games All things to consider. All in all, I’d just get PLA or get Scarlet/Violet. Even just full odds random encounters get so much higher when you complete the base game Pokédex. I usually find one about every hour when I run around and do checks with that 1/1500 odds or whatever it is with the shiny charm

First one is unlocked. But only for the Partner cap, in fact it's even huntable right now (or was, idk) but the shiny Partner cap Pikachu can go into the game

You forgot Victini I think a lot of these will be made available eventually in Pokémon Go through a paywall. They are locking them and making them available in Go bc they want their players to pay for attempts at a shiny rather than soft reset.

Tip for people that trade on pokemon home: please trade away all your furfrou forms before it’s too late, you can get literally anything (including shiny legendaries, some suspicious, some not) for specific forms. Though this is only true for lvl 91-100 furfrou forms so you might have to bring some over from the 3ds games.

Gimmighoul was obtainable as a shiny in a tera raid event for a short time. There were some people out who shared their shiny raid with others to join. I got one.
